HARUKI TAKANO / 高野東来

Born in Shizuoka, Japan in 1976.
Saxophonist, composer, and arranger.
Studied classic / jazz saxophone and music theory under Naruyoshi Kikuchi, Bungo Nagatani, and Sumino Harashina.
My first appearance on stage was in 1996 as a player of the funk unit “ELECTRIC SABOO”.
Around the same time, I started composing music with parallel usage of acoustic and electronic instruments.
In addition, I began performing with many artists in events which I organized.
After jamming with several bands and joining recordings, I launched the jam band “Lore and Dower” in 2006.
On top of this, I started the jazz combo “throb” in 2007.
I am constantly in pursuit of unique activities such as using wind and string instruments with new approaches.

Don’t worry if you have never touched an instrument nor cannot read a music chart!
I will provide courteous and enjoyable lessons to you.
The lesson will be done at Kokubunji, Tokyo.
And the cost is from 4,000 JPY per one class (60 min).
